Look what Mark did for the first time tonight. He is really starting to gain some head control now!

Mark enjoys his "Daddy time". Mark is grabbing objects, kicking his feet, smiling and growing. His favorite place to rest is on Mommy's or Daddy's shoulder.

He keeps growing! Here is a recent picture of Mark. He is 10 weeks old! He has been spending extra time with Granny, Grandpa and Daddy, while Mommy is finishing up at work. I have made the decision to be a stay at home Mom.

Mommy and Mark went to the doctor for his 2 month check up today. The doctor checked his growth and development and that was good. Mark then had his 2 month shots. He cried during the shots, but by the time we were checking out at the doctor's office he was cooing at me. He took a nice long nap this afternoon and now he is cooing and even giving a few smiles.

Mom and Homer left this morning to drive back to Austin. We had a wonderful time with them. After they left Mike stayed home with Mark while I drove to church and sang with the choir in the 11:00 service. It was nice to be back with the choir again.

Mom and Homer arrived last night. Today we took Mark to the Oklahoma Aquarium. He slept through much of the outing, but he did wake up in time to view a few fish. He is all smiles.
I'm sure it has something to do with the arrival of grandparents!

Mark appeared to enjoy his first 4th of July. We watched on the TV the space shuttle Discovery launch. Later in the day we took Mark outside to watch the fireworks. He slept through the first few but eventually he woke up and watched the fireworks with wide eyes.

We went to Bartlesville this weekend for Mike's high school reunion. Mike enjoyed seeing several of his good friends from high school. Joanna enjoyed a visit with her friend Suzanne and meeting some of Mike's high school friends. Suzanne's little girl was fascinated with Mark and gave him kisses and tickled his feet. Mark gave his Granny, Grandpa, and Great Grandma smiles. It was a wonderful weekend. Mark continues to grow and is doing a lot of kicking, smiling, and using a lot more sounds.
