On Friday, Mark and I went to the Tulsa Zoo with friends from church Lisa and her son Jacob. It was a beautiful day to go to the zoo and I think we all had a fun time. Jacob and Mark are in the same nursery class at church. Jacob is about a week older then Mark. They both seemed to like looking at the meercats. Mark pointed at them and said "kuh kuh" so maybe they reminded him of the cats he has at home. I forgot to bring my camera, but Lisa brought her camera and took this nice picture of Mark and I.

Mark really likes yogurt. He decided that he could feed himself the yogurt. He dipped the spoon in the yogurt and then brought it to his mouth. It was messy, but Mark enjoyed it.

Granny and Grandpa came over tonight to babysit. Mike and I enjoyed an evening out. I think Mark did a good job of entertaining his grandparents while we were gone.

Another tooth!

Mark was doing some general fussing today when Joanna noticed he has a new tooth coming in on the top side.

I bet he'll be able to bite really well once it's fully in. Watch out, he likes to try to bite your nose! He's gotten both Kylie and me so far!

Mark and I went to swimming lessons this morning. Today was the first day that Mark went under water. He did great! I really like this swim class. We sing songs throughout the class so it is lots of fun. I have learned how to hold Mark and how to put him under water. Mark looked a bit surprised the first time he went under water, but he wasn't upset. Mark is given cue words each time he is put under water, so this prepares him for what will happen next. Mark's swim teacher put him under water the first time and then I put him under water three other times during the class.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful morning. We went to church. I sang in the choir for the 8am and 11am services. During the time between the services, Mark received lots of attention from the choir members. Mike helped with sound at the 8am service and ran sound for the 9:15am service. After the 9:15am service, Mike took Mark home for a nap. Once we were all home from church it was time for the Mark to get his Easter basket. He enjoyed his new toys.

We are very thankful to all be well again. Mark and I have been fighting a stomach virus which started on Tues. and lasted about 4 days. Now that we are healthy again. Mark is teething. We could start a new song. "All I want for Easter is my two front teeth!"
